Q. Why choose Kinzle Kids?
Answer:
Kinzle Kid's staff is very loving and affectionate, with all the children. Your child will be nurtured and loved while in our care. We teach the children to love and care for their friends just as we love and care for them. Bullying is not allowed at Kinzle Kid's, any signs of bullying will be addressed, immediately. We realize that toddlers sometimes go through a phase of hitting and biting, however our staff is consistant when implementing the childcare rules. We believe consistency is key when correcting an undesired behavior.
Kinzle Kid's staff is very envolved with the children's play and education. The attention that children require is constant and that is why the better half of the day there will be 2 of us providing for your children. Thus giving us more opportunities throughout the day to spend one-on-one time with each child.
Kinzle Kid's believes that the more exposure children have the more they will learn, at any age. We realize that parents are exhausted after a long days work and life can get really busy, it happens to all of us, so at Kinzle Kid's we try to give the children as many opportunities to explore, learn, play, and ask questions, as many as possible in a days time. So rest assured that your children will have our full attention. Your children may surprise you with their newly found knowledge.
We are an active group and children will be exposed to little to NO TV during childcare hours. We want the children to stay busy using their imagination and creativity.
Kinzle Kid's believes in raising healthy strong children. We are well aware of the essential vitamins and healthy foods that children require daily in order to allow their bodies to function properly and in optimal health and therefore we are enrolled with the Child and Adult Care Food Program(CACFP), which assists our staff in preparing meals, with a guidance menu to ensure that all food groups are being met at meal time. They also give partial reimbursement that further helps us to maintain the funds to feed your children just what they need and still keep childcare costs at a reasonable rate.
Kinzle kid's wants every child to realize how meaningful their entering the world really is, so we like to celebrate the children's birthday. Children who have a birthday which falls on a weekend will still have a celebration at Kinzle Kid's the friday prior to their actual birthday. So everyone's big day will be celebrated regardless of date. The children will enjoy a special treat with their friends and a small gift from our bunch.
Kinzle Kid's summers are full of wet and wild fun. We will spend a lot of time outside, even when doing our arts and crafts. Story time and circle time will take place in the summer sun as well (weather permitting). We will walk to the park often, this will ensure that the children are enjoying themselves, soaking up the vitamin D, and getting plenty of excercise. What a way to stay healthy and happy.
We are aware that children pass along a ton of germs and it is impossible to eliminate 100% of germ bacteria but we do what we can to ensure that germs are minimal at Kinzle kid's. The children/providers are required to wash their hands before and after eating a meal/preparing meals, immediately after playing outside, and after each restroom break. Furthermore, we sanitize childcare toys every Sunday and toys that younger children tend to put in their mouth, daily. We stick to the guidlines that are stated in the parent handbook under illness, not to make things inconvenient for parents, rather to keep all children and providers as healthy as possible.
At Kinzle Kid's we encourage parents to drop by any time during childcare hours to join in on our daily activities, the more the merrier. We would like a heads up during naptime hours so that your entrance can be discrete, not interrupting the children who are resting, however your attendance is still welcomed. We also encourage feed back and suggestions from the parents. After all these are your children and if you have a great idea we want to know about it. If it is a reasonable and age appropriate request than we may add it in to our lesson plans or learning style. So feel free to be as involved as you would like. (all suggestions will be considered)
We put the safety of the children first, therefore at Kinzle Kids we require that the parents/gaurdians give names of individuals who will be picking children up, other than parents/gaurdians themselves, to the providers in advance. Whoever you have listed to pick up your child(ren) will be required to show picture ID before the child(ren) will be realesed into their care. (NO EXCEPTIONS) I will allow parents to call and relay pick up information to me by phone but until this information is presented to me verbally or by written notice from a parent/gaurdian the children will not be allowed to leave the Kinzle Kids premises.
I make it a point to capture as many special moments as I can on camera. So mom's and dad's be prepared to receive random photos at various times of your child(ren) playing and learning( picture texting ). Not only do parents enjoy the photos but the parents also are reassured that their children are in safe hands. If you enjoy photos as much as I do, please be sure to let me know at enrollment so that I can send you special memories made by your children at Kinzle Kid's. Photos can be sent by e-mail as well, e-mail photos will be sent during naptime and after hours, pic texts will be sent immediately to your phone... parent's enjoy:)
kinzle Kid's doors will be locked during childcare hours and parents who are interested in childcare will be asked to visit our home after we have closed for the evening, for the safety of the children. However, parents with attending children are free to show up at any time and will be allowed in immediately. Other than parents of attending children, KDHE, and Food program surveyors, no one including neighbor children will be allowed into the home until after 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday.
During rainy, snowy, cold, and yucky days we may be unable to go outside, however we do our best to ensure that your children get a moderate amount of excercise (1 hour/day). We enjoy tumbling on the napmats, simmon says with lots of jumping and dancing, or red light, green light and much more. Movement is a priority on the days when we are stuck inside. An active day keeps everyone happy!
